Working with all 32 Local Authority partners - our 470 strong Active Schools team recruits, supports and sustains a network of local volunteers, coaches, leaders and teachers to deliver physical activity and sport before and after school, and during lunchtime.

At sportscotland we passionately believe in the benefits of sport. National School Sport Week is closely aligned to the aim of our Active Schools Network – to give children and young people the opportunity to get involved in sport.
