A very big thank you to every school that took part in the launch of the Bank of Scotland National School Sport Week and helped make it an amazing success.
Scotland's biggest school sporting event took place from 7-11 June 2010 with over 700 schools taking part in an exciting week-long celebration of sport and physical activity. The week uses the inspiration of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to get young people taking part in and understanding the value of sport.
Schools organised Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Torch Relays, Festivals of Sport and inter and intra school competitions. During the week there were lots of Olympic and Paralympic athletes on hand to support and get involved with all the activities. There are lots of great news stories from schools that took part this year. Read them by
